Nantucket 2010

So, I figure you're just happy to see the photos.  Sorry for the rotation on some of them.  I loaded them and thought they were correctly oriented - but they were not.
Here we are on the ferry to Nantucket.  It started out as a cool day - the girls in their jackets and scarves.

Here is the wharf.  We disembarked and began to wander around the island.

The folks at the welcome center suggested this restaurant as a good place to eat with children because of the outdoor deck.  It was the Even Keel Cafe.  Good food - great to be outdoors with the girls, though!

We took the walking tour of homes.  Here are several of the homes mentioned on the tour.

Sometime during the day Lucy took the camera.

Oldest house on the island still being used as a home.

Ice cream was enjoyed on the dock - we listened to the horns of the ferries, the bells on the dock, and the lapping waves.

The trip home included Nantucket t-shirts and some fooling around at the front of the passenger section on the ferry.
